*shakes head* Hisoka was a pain to write. He's so basic, that's the problem; he's not sensual like Muraki or philosophical (wrong adjective, but the best I can think of) like Seishirou, or occupied with issues of strength like Akabane.
...I mean, the crux of Hisoka's personality is that he's a self-centred bastard who happily indulges his lust to kill. And somehow this makes him a likeable character. I always knew manga screws up your morals.
