This is really nice! Very insightful... For someone who claims to know nothing about go you fudge it very well. ;) But yeah, this is a very nice look into Isumi, I can definitely see him thinking this through sometime after he's become a pro (since before, he is too--young? immature? stereotypical asian woman? :P You give him a good mix of hope and fatalism masked as pragmatism...rings true to the character yet is somehow less annoying.
