I think I felt like the POV sounded way more like me trying to write Kishimoto rather than Kishimoto himself; it's certainly not the worst I've ever written, but probably not the best

But I really wanted to write something closer to the spirit of the prompt! But it'd have to be a different kind of (and longer) story. Glad you forgive me anyway. <3
